THE ALL SUFFICENT GOD

THE ALL SUFFICIENT GOD

The word sufficient could be referred to as extravagant or even to be more than enough or to be outside the envelop. This is one of the attributes of God as sister C.C. (London) testified of how God miraculously supply her needs in the area of House, job and marriage. Her testimony goes thus: When I came to Shiloh last year, I presented my written expectations to God regarding my life, business and career. I was expecting God to give me a good job, I was trusting him to get married, I was trusting God to have a business that will make me to stop being a tenant and become a landlord. I was also trusting God for a financial breakthrough.

When I got home, I kept believing and confessing the word, especially all those statements Bishop Oyedepo declared during the prophetic declarations. I kept speaking them every single day. I believed them.

First of all I got a job, which was much better than the previous one. After this I bought a house. In July, I met my husband, he is a pastor and we got married shortly. In fact everything I wrote as expectation has come to pass. Today also, I have a business of my own. I give God all the glory.

SS WAS REVERSED TO AA

SS WAS REVERSED TO AA
If you are one of those who believe that miracle has faded away with the disciple of Jesus, then you need to listen to Joshua “my parent discovered six month after my birth that I was a sicklier. There was no week that they would not donate a pint of blood for me. I was suffering from hospital to hospital. A friend of my father invited us to Shiloh 2003, telling us that our problem will be solved there. I came to Shiloh 2003 and said lord, ‘Lord, I will not go back with this sickness.’ And since I went back, I’ve never experienced anything sickle cell again. When we went for a blood test, my blood genotype became AA!”

MIRACLES ARE REAL

MIRACLES ARE REAL.

If it were to be some else telling me, I wouldn’t have believed. Fortunately, I was right there in the auditorium when Alice. M (Nigeria) narrated her wonderful testimony. “I joined Winners Chapel in the year 2000. I was sexually molested at iyana-Oba by fraudsters, after collecting money from me. Since then I have been having strange feelings in my body, but I was not bold enough to go to the hospital. I have a friend who is a nurse, from whom I collected a book. I discovered from the book that I have HIV symptoms, but I still was not bold enough to go to the hospital. I kept believing God for a healing, because I can’t tell anybody my house.

I determined to attend Shiloh 2004. I said to myself, “As I’ am coming to Shiloh, I will not go back the same again.” I attended the Healing School for HIV patients. They asked us to go for the test. We were three that went for the test. The first person said she tested positive to HIV at Abuja, but now it was no more there. The lab man said that God that did that one would do my own too. I claimed it. But when my result came out, I saw HIV one and two positive, but I was not moved because I said God will do it, as I had determined that I would not leave Shiloh 2004, If God does not do it.

I went back to the Healing School on Thursday and Friday. Yesterday we were told to go back for a test. I had dropped the first test result in the Ark of Testimony, believing that God would do it. I immediately went for another test in the church, and went back for the result that night, and it was HIV negative! This is my testimony.”

THOU ART HONOURABLE

THOU ART HONOURABLE

“And Jabex was more honorable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabex, saying, because I bare him with sorrow.” 1 Chronicles 4:8.

God’s greatest love for us is revealed in our ability to absolutely trust him without giving much credence to our situation or circumstances, God showed His love usually when we approach Him as a father with our burden, this act of trust was illustrated in our text.

Jabex discovered a “stink” in his life from birth which earned him an Acronym of a child of sorrow which made him walk about with bowed-head and folded arms.

But Jabex instead of growing up with the stigma, he rather approached God in prayer and the bible recorded that God granted his request and made him honorable among his brethren (1 Chronicles 4:9). What a testimony!

By implication, the story of Jabex illustrates what God expects us to do about our situation or circumstances, we might find ourselves as we relate with Him daily.

God expects full fledge trust from us to do all things (Jeremiah 32:17). As Jabex did.
The story of Jabex teaches us a very important lesson in rising up to challenges (Jabex had a choice, he could have chosen to meet a relative, friend, pastor (etc) but he rather approached his maker and lay down the burden of his life at his feet.

With this children can also pray, age is not a barrier to working/walking with God. We are encouraged to face every challenge of life with prayer and trust in the power of the Almighty God to rise on our behalf. As children in His presence, we owe God the responsibility of interceding for our biological parents, friends, school, church, and even our nation.

Jabex intended to go the extra-miles for God when he prayed to God to enlarge his coast. God loves the mind that would attempt what seems impossible before men and solving people’s problem.

As children of God, we are more advantageous than people of Jabex dispensation through the Holy Spirit. So what else are you waiting for?

CONTENDING EARNESTLY FOR THE FAITH

CONTENTING EARNESTLY FOR THE FAITH

TEXT: JUDE 1 VERSE 3

The word contend refers to an act of striving, fighting, or even pursuing a course. This is because an athlete does not become perfect in a day, but he denies himself of some certain things like pleasure, comfort, and leisure in order to be perfect so as to win the race.

Likewise as children of the moist high God, in order for us to run our heavenly race to the end successfully, we have to fight, strife or even contend earnestly for the faith that was once handed over to us so as to jealously keep/guide our salvation.

QUALITIES/ATTRIBUTES OF MEN WHO INDEED ARE CONTENDING FOR THEIR FAITH.

1 Must have vision i.eThey must be men of great vision/dream. They should be able to see what others cannot see. Hosea 4:6, Ruth 1:16.
2 Must have dogged determination. Ruth 1:16-18.
3 Must be diligent. Proverbs 22:29.
4 Must climb all huddles. Gen 39:7-9.
5 Requires additional strength.(Help of the Holy Spirit) Acts 1:8.
6 Must be faithful. Proverbs 28:20.

CONCLUSION: Have you resolve to contend earnestly for the faith that was once handed over to you? Are you really working out your salvation with fear and trembling? I challenge us today to disassociate ourselves from living an average Christian life and also a life full of mediocrity.

BE PURPOSEFUL

BE PURPOSEFUL

Man is born with a need to win and to conquer. Slavery is unnatural. We are created to dominate the work of God’s Hands. The graveyards are full of great men and women who never became great because they did not give their ability responsibility. “God said to Abraham in Genesis 12:2, “I will make you a great nation and I will bless you, I will make your name great and you will be a blessing.” Stop, look at where you have been and start looking at where you can be. Make up your mind to destroy the”Nobody mentality”. A purposeful person is full of faith, is aware of God’s purpose for his/her life, he/she is aware of the potentials or divine ability inside of him and he/she is equally aware that he can fulfill his purpose by faith in God. A person who knows who he/she is, why he/she is at a place, where he/she is going, and how is going to get there is purposeful.

According to the words of David Oyedepo”Without a definition of destination, you are bound to be a victim of frustration. “The majority of people are ready to throw their aims and purposes overboard, and give up at the first sign of opposition or misfortune. A few carry on despite all opposition, until they attain their goal. Fear is an enemy of your destiny. Fear is seeing the impossible. It is an enemy of faith. I Tim1:7 say God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and a sound mind. Take to plan your career and life’s work. It deserves your attention. Strive to be the best you can be. Don’t be a short-ranger, be a long-ranger.

In Luke 14:24 the word of God said “for which of you, intending to build a tower, sits not down first, and counts the cost, whether he has sufficient to finish it”. Only what God cannot do will be impossible to you if you truly believe. “The people that do know their
God shall be strong, and do exploit” (Dan 11:32). Go to the ants and learn wisdom. They have no king to rule over them. Yet, they are well organized and purposeful. The steps you take today will determine how far you go in life.
